WHY DID WE
CREATE THIS WEBSITE?
2 PROBLEMS
1. As Tim taught digital skills to
post-homeless Veterans at the
Salvation Army in Nevada, two things
quickly became apparent.
Tim quickly realized, if he was not
physically present to teach the class
then no one learned what they needed.
(No teacher equals no class taught).
2. Tim also learned some students
could not attend the training for
many reasons, (1) working during the day,
(2) disabled, (3) physically challenged,
and other things. Those students that
could not attend the training did not
learn the skills to help them become
employed and self-sufficient in a digital society.
THE SOLUTION
The solution was to create this training
website JobTrainingInTheCloud.Com
(1) If there is no teacher to teach
the class, the students can view the
training any time they wanted.
(2) Some students feel that classroom
teaching is too fast for them to comprehend.
The students could teach themselves at
their own pace. These students could
view the training on repeat.
(3) If the student cannot attend
the class at the specific time, they
can view the training from their
location (apartment, hotel, etc).
Since the training is online, the training
is availalbe day or night.
