Task 1: - Remove Spaces (TIAWOT 3/5/25)

  1. Click the worksheet tab titled "Remove Spaces From Column A".
  2. Notice the leading spaces in front of the words in Column A.
  3. Click cell D2.
  4. Create a formula that removes the spaces from the values in Column A.
  5. When finished, delete Column A.
  6. Explain what went wrong and how you would fix it.

Task 2 – Loan Schedule Example (TIAWOT 8/13/32)

  1. Click the worksheet tab titled "Loan Schedule Example".
  2. Review the loan amortization schedule.
  3. Click the worksheet tab titled "Loan Schedule Empty".
  4. Recreate the loan amortization schedule you just reviewed.


Task 2A – Investment Tracker (TIAWOT 8/10/41)

  1. Click the worksheet tab titled "Loan Schedule Example".
  2. Review the loan amortization schedule.
  3. Click the worksheet tab titled "Loan Schedule Empty".
  4. Recreate the loan amortization schedule you just reviewed.


Task 3 – Duplicates Find(TIAWOT 2/11/39) Sort (TIAWOT 7/8/46) Remove (TIAWOT 2/15/48)

  1. Click the worksheet tab titled "Duplicates".
  2. Identify and mark all duplicate values in red.
  3. Sort the worksheet so all duplicate entries appear at the top.
  4. Remove the duplicate entries.

Task 4 – Empty Rows (TIAWOT 3/26/1:20)

  1. Click the worksheet tab titled "Empty Rows".
  2. Delete all empty rows in the worksheet.

Task 5 – Top Sales Values (TIAWOT 7/22/ SEC 51)

  1. Click the worksheet tab titled "Top 3".
  2. Identify the top 10 highest sales figures in the Sales column.
  3. Click cell D5.
  4. Enter the value 88888 into cell D5.
  5. Observe that cell D5 turns red.
  6. Remove the red formatting from Column D.

Task 6 – Separate Columns (TIAWOT 1/19/ SEC 58)

  1. Click the worksheet tab titled "Separate Columns".
  2. Notice that Column C contains City, State, and Zip Code.
  3. Separate the City into Column C.
  4. Separate the State into Column D.
  5. Separate the Zip Code into Column E.
  6. Ensure the email addresses are placed in Column F.

Task 7 – Join Columns (TIAWOT 7/17/ SEC 57)

  1. Click the worksheet tab titled "Join Columns".
  2. Click cell E2.
  3. Create a formula that joins the First Name in Column B with the Last Name in Column A, with a space between them.
  4. Copy the formula down through cell E107.
  5. Delete Columns A and B.
  6. Explain what went wrong and how you would fix it.
